Staff Spotlight: Tia Perry

Meet Tia Perry ... Tia has been a valued member of the Charles Lea Center team in Wilmington, North Carolina, for the past year and a half, serving as an Overnight Monitor. While much of her work happens overnight, Tia plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of the individuals we support.

In her role, Tia monitors overnight safety, oversees medical equipment, administers morning medications, and assists with daily routines to help each day begin smoothly. She brings extensive caregiving experience, including work as a CNA in healthcare facilities, in-home care, hospice, and group home settings, along with an Associate’s degree.

Tia was drawn to CLC by its mission and the flexibility that allows her to balance meaningful work with family life. Outside of work, she enjoys music, reading, building with Legos, and spending time with her husband and four children.

We are grateful for Tia’s dedication and the important role she plays at the Charles Lea Center
