North Carolina - Services

The Charles Lea Center is a National Leader in providing Supportive Living and Community based services options so the people we support can live the lives that they choose.  Supportive Living offers an opportunity for the people that we support to live on their own, perhaps for the first time in their lives.

Direct Support Professionals / Community Support Specialists, with the help of technology, provide customized levels of care, allowing each person to have unique supports and services based specifically on their needs.  Our staff have been trained to understand each person’s plans and programs, which have been developed based in Person-Centered philosophies.  This is to ensure the outcomes developed by the people we support are addressed and met.

Thanks to technology championed by the Charles Lea Center, the people we support can make the choice to live with a combination of in person and remote supports.  This allows them the highest level of independence and autonomy, while continuing to ensure their health and safety needs are being met.

The Charles Lea Center provides services through the Innovations Waiver, State funded Medicaid services and private pay options.  ** (Link for service definitions here)
